Source and methodology
Source: companydata.dk / CVR, Danish Business Authority. The statistics are compiled daily from our CVR database. A saved edition preserves the figures, methodology and downloads from the same extraction.
Each CVR number with active status in companydata.dk is counted once. All legal forms are included, including sole proprietorships, limited companies and associations.
The company's latest registered main industry is grouped by the first two digits of its six-digit industry code. Secondary industries are excluded.
Industry division 64 includes banks and holding companies, among others. All legal forms within the division are included in the count.
Missing or invalid industry codes are grouped under Unknown industry. Shares are calculated from all active companies, including those with an unknown industry. Divisions in our reference register are shown even when their count is zero.
The statistics show the current industry distribution. They do not measure industry growth, revenue or employment. Reclassification and corrections in CVR may change the distribution.
