What is company screening?
Company screening is a systematic way of finding companies from objective criteria instead of name lookups. You combine filters on key figures, industry, geography and risk signals, see the number of matches instantly, and act on the result: save the screen, add the companies as leads, or export the full list to Excel.
The tool covers every active Danish company in CVR and is built entirely on public registry data: annual reports from the Danish Business Authority, property data from the ownership register and BBR, livestock herds from CHR, and the companies' own contact details.
What you can filter on
Key figures
Gross profit, operating profit, net result, equity, total assets, equity ratio, current ratio, return on equity, profit margin and year-over-year growth rates. All figures come from the company's most recently published annual report.
Industry and company type
DB07 industry codes at every level (2-6 digits, where short codes match the whole industry group), company types such as A/S, ApS and sole proprietorships, founding date and reporting class.
Geography
Region, municipality and postal codes. Combine freely, for example a whole region plus a few municipalities outside it.
Risk signals
Overdue annual reports, going concern emphases from the auditor, qualified audit opinions and late filings across the last five years.
Properties and agriculture
Companies that own properties, total building area, planning zone, flood risk and energy label, plus livestock herds from CHR by species.
Contact data
Phone, email and website, plus contact people by role such as management, sales, finance and procurement.

Acquisitions and M&A
Find acquisition targets from operating profit, equity ratio, age and industry. Sort by equity, compare the candidates, and save the screen so you can follow the field over time.
Sales and lead generation
Define your market precisely, for example every installer in Central Jutland with at least five employees, and add the result as leads or send it to Excel.
Credit and risk
Find suppliers and customers with risk signals such as going concern emphases and overdue annual reports before they turn into losses.
Honest numbers about data coverage
Not every company reports every figure. Roughly 41% of active Danish companies file annual reports, and the smallest (reporting class B) typically publish gross profit but not revenue. That is why the tool shows the coverage of every key figure directly in the filter, so you know exactly how much of the market your screen reaches.

What does company screening cost?
The filters are open to everyone, but results, saved screens and export require a Pro subscription. See current prices on the pricing page.
Where do the figures come from?
All data comes from public registries: CVR, annual reports from the Danish Business Authority, the property ownership register, BBR and CHR. Key figures are computed from the most recently published annual report.
How often is the data updated?
Company data is synchronised continuously from CVR, and new annual reports are processed as they are published.
Can I export the result?
Yes. You can export up to 25,000 companies at a time to Excel with the columns you choose, including management, properties and contact data. You can also opt in to financial history and get an extra file with one row per company per fiscal year, every year on record. The file is delivered by email when ready.
How does screening differ from lead lists and the API?
The screener is the interactive exploration in the browser. Lead lists are one-off exports with fixed filters, and the API gives you the same filters from your own systems, including webhooks that notify you when new companies match a saved screen.
