What is property screening?
Property screening finds company-owned properties from objective criteria: location, building area, flood exposure, energy label and planning zone. Every result shows the owning company with its CVR number, taking you straight from the property to the decision maker behind it.
The tool is built entirely on public registries: ownership from the Danish property ownership register (Ejerfortegnelsen), building data from BBR, energy labels from the Danish Energy Agency's EMO register, planning zones from Plandata, and flood indicators computed on the Danish Climate Data Agency's open elevation models. Private homeowners are never included; results are limited to properties with at least one active company owner.
What you can filter on
Geography
Region and postal codes. Combine freely, for example a whole region plus a few postal codes outside it.
Building area
Minimum and maximum total building area from BBR. Find, say, every property with buildings over 1,000 m² in an area.
Flood exposure
Properties with an elevated flood indication from depressions (bluespots) or sea level rise, computed on the Climate Data Agency's elevation models.
Energy label
Filter on specific energy classes, or simply on poor labels (D to G) where the renovation potential is usually largest.
Planning zone
Urban zone, rural zone or summer cottage area from Plandata, so the screen can be limited to the relevant use.
Ownership and protection
Every result has at least one active company owner from the ownership register. For marketing use, advertising-protected owning companies can be excluded.

Leads for construction and energy
Properties with poor energy labels are obvious candidates for energy renovation, solar panels and heat pumps. Exclude advertising-protected owners and the list is ready for outreach.
Climate and risk assessment
Screen a portfolio, an exposure or a local area for properties with elevated flood indication before the risk turns into damage.
Honest numbers about data coverage
The registry holds over 2.6 million Danish properties, of which roughly 560,000 have an active company owner and are in scope for the screen. Flood indicators and planning zones are computed for the company-owned properties, while energy labels only exist for the roughly 165,000 properties holding a valid label. Flood data is an indication based on open elevation models, not an insurance-grade assessment.

The screen is deliberately limited to properties with at least one active company owner. Privately owned homes are never part of the results.
What does the flood flag mean?
The flag is an indication computed on the Climate Data Agency's elevation models: the property sits in a depression (bluespot) or low relative to the sea. It is a screening signal, not an insurance-grade risk assessment.
Can I use the screen from my own systems?
