Hvordan kan en virksomhed bruge sine mange kundedata til bedre at forstå forskellige kunders behov? Det har Juliane Helen Daniel undersøgt med Matas som case. I dag blev hendes speciale hædret med HBH Troubleshooter-prisen på CBS, mens Matas gav HBH-stafetten videre til Le Deux.
Et tæt samarbejde mellem Sine Christiansen, Holstebro Kommune og Matas i Holstebro hjalp den 28-årige tilbage til arbejdslivet. Siden 1. august har hun været ansat 25 timer om ugen i Matas Ikast. Og efter mindre end en måned er hendes butikschef ikke i tvivl om, at hun har fået en medarbejder med et særligt potentiale.
Da Özcan Ergun fra Humlebæk begyndte på Matas’ lager i 2001, var lageret halvt så stort, truckene havde ikke servostyring, og omkring 10.000 forskellige varer passerede gennem systemet. I dag er tallet omkring 60.000. Den 1. september kan han fejre 25-årsjubilæum – og han har ingen planer om at sætte tempoet ned.
Da Helena Bank Sørensen begyndte som elev i Matas i Skjern i 1986, blev varer vejet af i kælderen, Matas Striberne kunne dengang stå på 90 centimeters hyldeplads, og butikkens bedste juledag gav 30.000 kroner i kassen. Meget har ændret sig siden da, og 1. september kan hun fejre 40 år i den samme butik – og hun er ikke i tvivl om, hvad der er det vigtigste efter fire årtiers forandring: Menneskerne.
Omsætningen vokser i Matas Group, der står bag Matas i Danmark og KICKS i Sverige, Norge og Finland. Kvartalsregnskabet viser, at væksten primært drives af danske Matas, mens KICKS i Sverige fortsat er udfordret.
