Mange danskere venter med at skifte til vinterdæk, til frosten eller sneen rammer. Men så kan det være svært at få en tid på værkstedet. Derfor opfordrer Alm. Brand danskerne til allerede nu at booke tid til dækskifte og samtidig få tjekket, om dækkene er klar til vinteren.
Stormlavtrykket Boelo bød i weekenden på både kraftig blæst og store mængder regn. Alm. Brand har foreløbig modtaget ca. 100 anmeldelser om blandt andet ødelagte vinduer, hegn og oversvømmede kældre.
Næsten tre ud af fire danskere har svært ved at se cyklister og fodgængere uden refleks eller synligt tøj. Alligevel bruger mere end hver tredje dansker sjældent eller aldrig selv refleks, når mørket falder på. Det viser en ny undersøgelse foretaget af YouGov for Codan og Børneulykkesfonden.

Interessen for batterianlæg vokser i landbruget, hvor stadig flere ønsker at lagre strøm fra blandt andet solceller og udnytte energien mere fleksibelt. Men anlæggene medfører også en brandrisiko, som ifølge Alm. Brand ikke altid bliver tænkt tilstrækkeligt ind i placeringen, og det kan have store konsekvenser.
El-, racer- og gravelcykler er blevet en dyr hobby for mange danskere. Det kan mærkes hos forsikringsselskabet Alm. Brand, hvor antallet af kunder med en udvidet cykelforsikring er steget 75 pct. siden 2022.
Siden 2020 har el-løbehjul været involveret i 692 registrerede ulykker i Danmark. 121 personer er blevet alvorligt kvæstet, og én person har mistet livet. Det viser nye tal, som forsikringsselskabet Alm. Brand har fået fra Vejdirektoratet.
