Search and find companies

Search on companydata.dk covers every registered Danish company — over 850,000 active entities. You can search by name, CVR number, or address, combine with filters, and export the results to Excel.

Search and autocomplete

Start typing in the search field and autocomplete shows up to 10 suggestions instantly. Results are ranked by exact name match first, then prefix match, then general text relevance — so the most relevant company always appears at the top. Enter an 8-digit CVR number for a direct lookup.

What do the search results show?

Each result displays the company name, CVR number, status badge (active or ceased), company type, address, industry code, employee interval, and latest revenue. If revenue is not disclosed (common for reporting class B), we show gross profit instead. When fewer than five company results match, relevant person results also appear with their company relations and roles.

What filters can you use?

Click "Filters" to open the filter panel. All three filters can be combined freely.

• Municipality — pick from a searchable list of all 98 Danish municipalities
• Industry — search the list of DB07 industry codes and select a specific industry
• Postal code — pick from a searchable list of postal codes
• Include inactive — toggle on to include ceased and dissolved companies in results

Find nearby companies

Press the "Nearby" button to activate radius search. The search uses your browser's location and shows companies sorted by distance — closest first. Choose your radius from a dropdown: 100 m, 500 m, 1 km, 2 km (default), 5 km, 10 km, or 25 km. In nearby mode, the municipality and postal code filters are hidden since your location already constrains the area. You can still filter by industry.

Export to Excel

Click the export button to download your search results as an Excel file. The file includes CVR number, name, status, company type, industry code, industry name, address, postal code, city, municipality, employees, revenue, and fiscal year. Export requires a Pro subscription — up to 500 companies per export.
