Municipality reports

The municipality overview (/kommuner) shows all municipalities grouped by region — Capital, Zealand, Southern Denmark, Central Jutland, and Northern Jutland. Click a municipality to open its report.

Each municipality report shows four key figures at the top:

  • Active companies — number of active companies with year-over-year change
  • New registrations — new companies in the last 30 days with year-over-year comparison
  • Estimated employees — total headcount with annual change
  • Industry count — economic diversity in the municipality

Below the key figures, the report shows:

  • Economic activity — total revenue, median revenue, average revenue, and revenue per employee
  • CDS distribution — average CDS score compared to the national average, plus the breakdown across the five categories (Excellent, Good, Normal, High Risk, Critical)
  • Top 10 industries — the dominant industries ranked by company count
  • Company types — donut chart showing the distribution of A/S, ApS, I/S, and others
  • Top 10 companies — the largest companies by revenue with name, industry, employees, and revenue (clickable links)
  • Historical trend — 12 months of development in company count and estimated revenue

Postal code reports

The postal code overview (/postnumre) shows all postal codes with at least 5 active companies, grouped by geography: 1xxx = Copenhagen, 2xxx = Greater Copenhagen, 3xxx = North Zealand, and so on. You can search by postal code, city name, or municipality.

Each postal code report shows the same four key figures as municipality reports plus industry breakdown, company types, and top 10 companies. Postal code reports do not include the historical 12-month trend.

For postal codes with enough companies, you can also drill down to a specific industry — for example, all restaurants in 1050 Copenhagen K. This page shows up to 50 companies with name, address, employees, and revenue, plus links to the full search results and industry benchmarks for all of Denmark.

CDS scores by municipality

Municipality reports include a CDS distribution showing the financial health of the local business community. You can see the municipality's average CDS score and the deviation from the national average in percentage points. A municipality with a significantly lower CDS score than the national average may have a higher share of companies with heavy debt, negative equity, or young companies.
