Participant and person pages on companydata.dk

Who is the person behind the company? On companydata.dk, every person, company, and foreign entity registered in CVR has their own participant page. The page gathers all roles across Danish companies — from active ownership and director positions to historical board seats and bankruptcy relations. You'll typically arrive here by clicking a name on a company page.

At the top you see the participant's name, type (person, company, or foreign entity), and unit number. For foreign entities, the address is shown with a link to the country page. If the participant is a Danish company, a direct link to the company page is displayed. Below the header, summary counters show: ownership count, board positions, director positions, other roles, network connections, and any bankruptcy relations.

Network

The network section shows people who share company connections with the participant — people who hold roles in the same companies. You see a short preview (3 people) with names and which companies they share. Pro users can expand the full network.

Current roles

Roles are split into four sections, each showing a count:

  • Ownership — companies the participant owns, with ownership interval and voting rights if different. Each company is shown as a card with name, CVR, function, active/ended badge, and dates
  • Board positions — companies where the participant sits on the board
  • Director positions — companies where the participant serves as director
  • Other roles — auditor, founder, liquidator, and similar

Each company card links directly to the company page. Companies under bankruptcy, dissolved after bankruptcy, or in liquidation are marked with a coloured badge. Lists are paginated at 25 per page.

Indirect ownership

If the participant owns companies through holding structures, an indirect ownership section appears. For each indirectly owned company, you see the effective ownership share and voting rights, the depth in the chain, and the full ownership path — e.g. "Person → Holding ApS (100%) → Subsidiary A/S (50-66.65%)". Each step in the path is clickable.

Historical roles

Below the current roles, matching sections appear for historical roles: former ownership, former board positions, former director positions, and other ended roles. Each entry shows appointment and resignation dates. Companies that went bankrupt while the participant held a role are marked with a red bankruptcy badge — but only if the person was involved within one year before the company ceased.

What types of participants are there?

  • Person — a natural person with roles in Danish companies. Address-protected individuals don't show an address
  • Company — a company that owns or manages other companies, e.g. a holding company. Shown with a link to the company page
  • Foreign entity — a person or company registered abroad. Shown with address and a link to the country page
Use participant pages for due diligence
Before entering a partnership, look up the owner or director to see all their company relationships. The bankruptcy counter at the top gives a quick overview of any history with distressed companies.
