Fondens formål er a) i første række at yde støtte - i form af legater eller lån - til direktør Jørgen Schrøders enke, hans descendenter og disses ægtefæller, hvorved bemærkes, at også enker/enkemænd efter descendenter vil kunne modtage støtte og at adoptivforhold overalt i denne fundats sidestilles med biologisk slægtskab, b) i anden række - og sideordnet med det i pkt. c nævnte formål - at yde bidrag til almennyttige og velgørende formål, hvorved bemærkes, at der ikke kan ansøges om støtte til de her nævnte formål, c) i anden række - og således sideordnet med det i pkt. b ovennævnte formål - at yde støtte, hvor og i det omfang, der efter bestyrelsens skøn findes særlig anledning hertil - i form af legater eller lån - til personer, der har eller har haft tilknytning til de af fonden direkte eller indirekte ejede virksomheder, samt sådanne personers nærmeste familie. Stk. 2 Af det beløb, som fondens bestyrelse hvert enkelt år måtte stille til disposition som støtte i form af legater eller lån, skal mindst 50% anvendes til formål som angivet under a) i stk. 1. Med respekt heraf skal fondens bestyrelsen i øvrigt stå frit med hensyn til allokering af udlodninger i form af legater eller lån til de ovf. i stk. 1 angivne formål a-c.
