Yderligere kan formålet udvides til at omfatte en sammenslutning af virksomheder, hvori Toms Gruppen indgår B. Såfremt fondsbestyrelsen måtte finde det hensigtsmæssigt at investere også i anden form for erhvervsvirksomheder end de under A nævnte, skal sådan investering kunne ske ikke blot ved aktietegning, tegning af konvertible obligationer eller anden form for direkte investering, men også ved ydelse af lån, herunder ansvarlig lånekapital C. Støtte til veltjente tidligere medarbejdere i Toms Gruppen A/S, i de dertil knyttede selskaber samt i firmaet Tørsleff & Co. A/S eller til disses medarbejderes efterladte eller til samme personkreds, som måtte være tilknyttet andre selskaber, som Fonden i medfør af litra B direkte har investeret i eller b. Støtte til almennyttige formål, såsom undervisning, forskning, humanitær bistand og kulturelle formål, særligt sådanne, som det offentlige enten ikke ønsker eller ikke magter at støtte i tilstrækkeligt omfang Ingen skal ved domstolene kunne rejse krav på hjælp fra Fonden, idet bestyrelsen afgør, hvem der skal komme i betragtning ved uddeling af Fondens midler.
