En ny analyse udarbejdet for Realdania anslår den samlede mængde bygge- og anlægsaffald til omkring 7,5 mio. ton om året – cirka 3 mio. ton mere end registreret i den nationale statistik. Kun 23 procent bliver genanvendt og bearbejdet, så affaldsmaterialerne kan indgå i nye produkter. Analysen skal bidrage med ny viden om, hvor byggeriets materialer ender, og hvordan flere af dem kan bringes tilbage i kredsløb.
En ny undersøgelse viser, at interessen for at bo bæredygtigt er faldet. Nu lancerer Realdania en landsdækkende kampagne, der skal sætte fokus på et overset klimatiltag: At gøre ingenting.
Den filantropiske forening Realdania støtter 15 arkitekttegnestuer, der hver især skal evaluere et af deres egne projekter. Her skal de undersøge, hvordan arkitekturen bliver brugt i hverdagen, og holde det op mod de oprindelige ambitioner for projektet.
Halm, græs og hamp fra danske marker kan blive til fremtidens byggematerialer. Men vejen fra mark til færdigt byggeri kræver, at landmænd, materialeproducenter og bygherrer finder hinanden. Og at nye løsninger bliver prøvet af i praksis. Derfor åbner Realdania nu en ny pulje, hvor bygherrer kan søge støtte til at bruge danskproducerede biobaserede byggematerialer i konkrete byggeprojekter.
Den første søndag i september inviterer fællesskaber fra hele landet indenfor til åbent hus. Alle har de det tilfælles, at de har modtaget et mødested gennem Realdanias indsats Vores Sted. Dagen byder på alt fra fællesspisning og naturaktiviteter til kreative værksteder og musik – og muligheden for at få en gratis bog om fællesskaber med hjem
Danmark er et internationalt foregangsland, når det gælder kommunal klimahandling. Kommunerne investerer flere og flere ressourcer i klimaindsatsen og har allerede mere end tusind konkrete klimatiltag undervejs. Men der er et stort potentiale for at hæve tempoet endnu mere, hvis en række barrierer ryddes af vejen. Det viser en ny rapport fra CONCITO.
Børn og unge har brug for fysiske steder, hvor de kan finde tryghed, vokse som mennesker og finde vej ind i fællesskaber. Det er afsættet for, at Realdania over de kommende år igangsætter en indsats med fokus på bedre rum for børn og unge.
