E.ON Drive lancerer nu City Spot, et af de første ladeabonnementer i Danmark, hvor prisen på offentlig opladning følger spotprisen på el i stedet for en fast pris pr. kWh. Prisen er den samme på hele ladenetværket, uanset om der lades på byladere eller hurtig- og lynladere. Abonnementet koster 229 kr. om måneden, og oven i spotprisen lægges et fast tillæg på 25 øre/kWh. Abonnementet giver samme mulighed for at lade billigt, når spotprisen er lav, ligesom det i årevis har været muligt for kunder med egen ladeboks.
