Hvis aktivets værdi overstiger 50 millioner euro (EUR 50.000.000), skal værdiansættelsen udføres - uafhængigt af hinanden - af to uafhængige professionelle vurderingsmænd, der opfylder kravene i afsnit 216, stk. 1, 1. sætning, nr. 1 og 2. sætning, stk. 2 til 5, tysk kapitalkodeks (KAGB). Uanset aktivets værdi må den professionelle vurderingsmand ikke være den samme vurderingsmand, der bruges til løbende værdiansættelse. Selskabet må ikke købe noget aktiv, hvis købspris overstiger den estimerede markedsværdi som fastsat af de vurderingsmænd evaluatorer.
