Det kan være dagtilbud eller andre aktiviteter, som giver mulighed for at indgå i meningsfulde arbejdsfællesskaber og andre sociale og kulturelle fællesskaber med beboere i Andelssamfundet og i det øvrige lokalsamfund. Formålet søges primært opnået gennem køb, forpagtning, opførelse, drift og udlejning af fast ejendom især til Aarhus Kommune, Foreningen Andelssamfundet i Hjortshøj og Støtteforeningen Landsbyliv i Hjortshøj´s aktiviteter af praktisk, social, erhvervsmæssig, og/eller kulturel, samt eventuelt inkluderende karakter. Fonden kan desuden selv iværksætte og drive sådanne aktiviteter. Endelig kan fonden efter bestyrelsens beslutning iværksætte aktiviteter af enhver art, der direkte eller indirekte fremmer fondens formål. Fonden er almennyttig/velgørende.
