Undervisningen, forskningen og forsøgene og udførelsen af det daglige arbejde bør derfor tilrettelægges således, at den virker belivende ind på gården som helhed betragtet, hvorved der kommer alsidighed, helhed og social forståelse ind i arbejdet, ligesom de langsigtede virkninger af den biodynamiske driftsmetode bedre vil kunne vurderes. Thorshøjgård Fonden skal være et supplement til offentlige forsøgs- og undervisningstilbud til fremme for en helhedsbetragtning og en mere miljøbevidst holdning overfor naturen. Der skal tilstræbes et aktivt og åbent samarbejde med offentlige og private institutioner samt med de forbrugere, der knytter sig til gården, og som søger et mere bevidst forhold til deres fødevarers oprindelse og tilblivelse.
