Det danske forsikringsmarked får nu et styrket medlemsejet alternativ på IT-området. Landets to største medlemsejede forsikringsselskaber, LB Forsikring og GF Forsikring, køber sig ind i Gensam, der hidtil har haft Himmerland Forsikring som eneejer. Formålet er at etablere en fælles IT-platform til gavn for i alt godt en million medlemmer.
