Fonden har følgende_formål: 1. Gennem erhvervelse ved køb, gaveoverdragelse eller arv af aktier i H. Homilius Familieaktieselskab og dertil knyttede virksomheder at sikre og underbygge de nævnte virksomheders fortsatte beståen og udvikling på en sund, forretningsmæssig og økonomisk basis, herunder at medvirke til en fast, kontinuerlig ledelse af de nævnte virksomheder. 2. Yde støtte til mine efterkommere eller sådanne andre medlemmer af min familie, som efter bestyrelsens skøn har støtte og hjælp behov. Fondens eventuelle likvide beholdning kan udlånes til H. Homilius Familieaktiesel- skab og dertil knyttede virksomheder. Fondens midler skal endvidere anvendes til uddannelse og dygtiggørelse, bosætning og etablering, samt sådanne andre formål, som bestyrelsen finder støtteværdige. Bestyrelsen afgør, hvordan og i hvilken udstrækning støtten til de angivne formål skal ydes. Der kan ikke ske udlån til bidragydere eller til stifterens eller andre bidragyderes samlevende ægtefælle, samt de hos disse personer hjemmeboende børn under 18 år. Hertil kommer, at der ved uddelingen selvfølgelig skal ske overholdelse af lov om erhvervsdrivende fonde,- idet der særligt henvises til paragraf 43. 3. Yde støtte til unge handelsfolks uddannelse i udlandet, primært unge handelsfolk ansat i C. Homilius Trælast A/S og dertil knyttede virksomheder, herunder Homilius Entreprise A/S. 4. Yde støtte til bygningsbevarende foranstaltninger i Løgumkloster. 5. Yde støtte til sociale og kulturelle formål.
