Støtte til dansk kunst og kultur, herunder eksempelvis støtte til kunstmuseer til anskaffelse af kunstværker, arrangering af udstillinger, nyindretninger og lignende, udgivelse af litterære og videnskabelige værker - sidstnævnte fortrinsvis indenfor den humanistiske forskning. Endvidere - en i begrænser omfang - -individuel støtte til kunstnere og til videnskabsmænd og - kvinder. I øvrigt kan støtten inden for denne kategori ydes til andre beslægtede formål efter bestyrelsens skøn, idet det dog stedse bør iagttages, at kategorien er subsidiær i forhold til de ovenfor under A, B, og C nævnte.
