Borgere med erhvervet hjerneskade skal have adgang til specialiseret rehabilitering af høj og ensartet kvalitet, uanset hvor i Region Midtjylland de bor. Med sundhedsreformen samles denne opgave nu i ét regionalt tilbud, og Regionshospitalet Hammel Neurocenter er i fuld gang med at udvide holdet til tre enheder i Hammel, Herning og Horsens.
Den 1. oktober startede regionalt tilbud om gratis psykologbehandling til unge mellem 18 og 24 år med let til moderat depression eller angst. Region Midtjylland har åbnet fem nye ungeklinikker og samarbejder med private behandlere. En del af opgaven bliver at nedbringe stor venteliste.
