Entreprenørvirksomheden Gråkjær Erhverv A/S har efter et EU-udbud vundet opgaven med opførelse af Egedal Kommunes kommende multiarena. Dermed kan arbejdet med anlægget af multiarenaen, som blev vedtaget i 2024, gå i gang.
Samtlige partier i Egedal Kommune har indgået budgetaftale for 2027. Aftalen betyder 15 mio.kr. ekstra til socialområdet, 32 mio.kr. til minimumsnormeringer og oprettelse af en ny specialskole. Gælden nedbringes med 100 mio.kr, og der investeres i beskæftigelses- området. Besparelserne på ældre- og skoleområdet er begrænsede.
