Fra oktober skal PlanBørnefonden og lokale partnere sikre adgang til mad, vand og grønne indtægtsmuligheder for næsten 200.000 mennesker i Sydsudan og Etiopien, som er hårdt påvirket af klimaforandringer og konflikter. Det sker i samarbejde med African Development Bank og Grundfos Fonden med fælles finansiering på 100 mio kroner.
Forud for FN’s generalforsamling i september samles 100 unge fra 50 forskellige ungdomsorganisationer med civilsamfundet og politikere til Youth Summit på Christiansborg mandag den 24. august. Formålet er at lave anbefalinger til den danske delegation, der skal afsted til FN og til Danmarks internationale arbejde generelt.
Når Lukas Graham spiller sine danske koncerter til januar 2027, donerer bandet 1 euro pr. solgt billet til PlanBørnefonden svarende til en samlet donation på over en halv million kroner. Samtidig bliver Lukas Forchhammer ny ambassadør for organisationen.
