From address to the whole property

Find the property

Look up the address and get the property's BFE number. A flat returns both the flat and the plot it stands on.

2

One call with include=all returns buildings, owners, energy label, flood risk, planning status and valuations in one response.

What the response holds

Buildings and units

Use, year built, floor areas, storeys, heating and materials from the Danish building register (BBR).

Owner type and owners

Companies with name, company number and share. Private owners appear only as a private owner.

Energy label

The valid label with class and expiry date from the Danish Energy Agency, plus earlier labels.

Flood risk

Risk of flooding from cloudbursts and high sea levels at the property.

Planning status

Zoning, local plans, proposed local plans and municipal plan frameworks from Plandata.dk.

Public valuations

Final valuations since 2001 and the preliminary valuations from the Danish Property Assessment Agency, including land values for commercial property.

Parcels and addresses

Cadastral numbers, addresses and coordinates, so the property links to your own data.

Built for

Credit assessment

Assess the collateral behind a loan: owner, valuation, energy label and flood risk in one go.

Insurance

Get the building's floor areas, materials and flood risk straight from the registers.

Analytics and proptech

Build property data into your product or analysis with one API instead of a handful of registers.

Responsible use of property data

  • Private owners are never named. The response only says the owner is a private person.
  • Properties are looked up one at a time. We do not hand out lists of private homes.
  • Every response names its sources, so you can credit them onwards.

Part of your API plan

Property lookups count as ordinary API calls. A free key gives 1,000 calls a month, and Pro gives 300,000 for 299 DKK/mo. No lock-in. If you need more, we are happy to make an agreement.

Questions and answers

Where does the data come from?

From the public registers: buildings (BBR), ownership, cadastre and addresses via the Danish data distributor Datafordeler, energy labels from the Danish Energy Agency, flood data from the Danish Agency for Climate Data, planning from Plandata.dk and valuations from the Danish Property Assessment Agency.

How often is the data updated?

We fetch changes from the registers daily. New releases of the preliminary valuations are fetched when the Danish Property Assessment Agency publishes them.

How are properties owned by private persons shown?

With everything about the property itself, but the owner appears only as a private owner. Names of private owners are never part of the response.

Can I look up many properties?

Yes, within your quota. Lookups go one property at a time by address, BFE number, cadastral number or coordinate. Company-owned properties can also be screened by attributes such as floor area, energy label and flood risk.

Do I need to credit the source?

Yes. When you show valuations or energy labels onwards, credit the Danish Property Assessment Agency and the Danish Energy Agency. The source line is in the API response.

What does it cost?

Property lookups are part of your API plan: 1,000 calls a month for free and 300,000 with Pro for 299 DKK/mo. If you need more, we are happy to make an agreement.
