Is companydata.dk a replacement for Virk.dk?
No. Virk.dk is the official authority — you use it for registration, VAT filing, and other submissions. companydata.dk is for lookups, analysis, and monitoring. We make the same public data easier to use.
Do you use data from Virk/CVR?
Yes. We pull from the Central Business Register and public financial statements — the same sources Virk.dk shows. We enrich them with property data from EJF and our own CDS Score.
Why can't I read financials properly on Virk?
Virk shows financials in the format they were filed — typically XBRL (a technical standard) or PDF. We parse the XBRL files and display the key figures as clear tables and charts.
Does companydata.dk cost anything?
Basic lookups and full financial history are free and require no login. Pro at 299 DKK/mo gives you official annual reports, property data, CDS Score, API, and monitoring.
What is the CDS Score?
CompanyData Score is our assessment of a company's financial health (0-100) based on financial data and capital structure. Virk.dk has no equivalent feature.
